Pieter van Rijn (Consultant Strategy & Operations). Pieter van Rijn (1976) graduated end 2003 as a Master in Business Administration (MBA) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Next to his role as operations manager of a Dutch participation of a London private equity consortium in 2004/2005, Pieter was contracted as a composer and performing artist at Sony Music Entertainment Benelux. Between 2006 and 2009, Pieter was active as a manager international operations at Endemol where he advised group management and management board with respect to international strategy, corporate development and operations. Since 2009, Pieter is active as an independent management consultant for media & entertainment companies. He is a member of media consulting network '3 Rivers' and, among other roles, acting as an advisor to the board of Talpa Media. Pieter's expertise lies in the areas of international strategy, corporate-, and business development, M&A and operations in content industries like media, music and digital entertainment.
